Laging Tobias (1883-1884) was a Governor of Atjeh; ex-Resident of PalembangJongejan’s Land en Volk van Atjeh Vroeger en Nu in connection with Aceh. In medio July 1884 tried to bring Teukoe Oemar to the Dutch side by invoking his help in freeing the ‘Niserosschip’ prisoners held by the Radja van Teunom; ended in fiasco.
