From Keudjroeën Leupoe
Keudjroeën Leupoe was den lang gezochten en beruchten verzetsleider of the Geumpang district, laid low in August 1910 by the bivouac commander onderluitenant A. H. C. Roelofsen.
From Pidië
In 1910 Boreel at Lam Meulò and Schmidt at Tangsé became the pace-setters; in May Schmidt killed Tgk. Tjhi’ Majét and Tgk. di Boekét, the leadership of the Tirò band passing to the sixteen-year-old Tgk. Ma’at. In August Roelofsen at Geumpang laid low Keudjroeën Leupoe. In 1910 186 resistance men fell in Pidië, twenty-eight were taken prisoner and 174 submitted.
From Geumpang
In August 1910 the bivouac commander of Geumpang, onderluitenant A. H. C. Roelofsen, “at last laid low the long-sought and notorious resistance leader in that district, Keudjroeën Leupoe” H. N. A. Swart’s letter to Schmidt of 26 December 1909 named the further quarry there: Keudjroeën Leupoe’s sons T. Adé and T. Ma’E, then Keutjhi’ Bén Bangkèh and Keutjhi’ Linto. The great Keutjhi’ Bén, for whom Geumpang had become too hot, withdrew to the Boven Moegò district and was killed in Pameu in September 1911.

The Overzicht van Onderscheidingen printed in the 1930 jubilee number of Het Nieuws van den Dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië records under 1910 the award to Onderluit. Mar. A. H. C. Roelofsen, Alg. Stb. No. 45044 of the knight’s cross of the Militaire Willems-Orde 4th class, together with Kapt. Mar. F. P. A. van Gheel Gildemeester.
