The List of works consulted — headed Geraadpleegde boeken, brochures, artikelen, enz. — was the bibliography appended to M. H. du Croo’s General Swart, Pacifier of Atjeh (1943), listing the printed and archival sources on which the biography rested. It is a compact conspectus of the Dutch literature on the Atjeh-oorlog and the Buitengewesten available in 1943.
