The Maréchaussée number (1930)
A note of the Redactie in the 1930 jubilee number of Het Nieuws van den Dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië records that the forthcoming number of the Indisch Militair Tijdschrift was to be devoted entirely to the Korps Maréchaussée: “Aanteekening van de Redactie: Dit staat te gebeuren in het e.v. nummer van het Ind. Militair Tijdschrift, dat geheel gewijd is aan het Korps Maréchaussée.”
The note was appended to the jubilee number’s footnote explaining that lack of space obliged the editors to confine their printed register of honours to officers, onderluitenants, and those non-commissioned officers and men holding the Militaire Willems-Orde 3rd class.
