Leuhong was a maréchaussée post in the Lho Seumawé region, serving as the headquarters of the 5e divisie. The Colonne Matjan — the tijger-colonne formed under Christoffel in 1907 — was stationed at Leuhong after Christoffel’s departure, taking on the character of an ordinary maréchaussée divisie under Van der Vierk.
The false T. Radja Sabi investigation
When the false T. Radja Sabi arrived at Lho Soekon on 6 December 1913, kapitein Behrens — commandant of the 5e divisie at Leuhong — came over to question the boy. Behrens inquired about the bijzonderheden of different overvallen by the troepen at which the real T. Radja Sabi had been present. The pas-gemelde knaap immediately fell door de mand: he knew nothing of those tastbare feiten. The boy was brought to the bivak at Leuhong for further questioning, where he confessed that he was an onderschoven object — in reality Doellah, son of Tengkoe Radja Imeum of Mbang.
