Lampeneroet was a Dutch military post in the southern section of the geconcentreerde stelling (concentrated position) in Groot-Atjeh. The post was established on 21 February 1885.

Significance
Lampeneroet helped complete the southern section of the perimeter, providing coverage of routes toward Tjot-Goe and the southern interior.
Account from Verstege’s Een beroep op het Nederlandsche volk (1886)
Verstege names Lampeneroet (also Lampernoet) one of the eighteen posts of the line of 1885, and registers against it two incidents of the same year: the destruction of the telephone connection between Lamrong and Lampeneroet (night of 27-28 September 1885), and the repair of the damaged tramway between Lamara and Lampeneroet by the engineers, in which two men were killed and four wounded, among them the engineer lieutenant Krol van der Hoek — by the Batavia telegram of 16 December 1885 (see Guerilla raids inside the concentration line (1885)).
