Tanòh Mirah was the bivouac in the Boven Wòjla from which Scheurleer carried out the pacification that produced the submission of two hundred resistance men in 1909.
Those submitting were helped with rice and seed-padi. From Tanòh Mirah Van Arkel twice surprised the band of Keutjhi’ Bén in the Boven Moegò district in September 1911, and a patrol under sergeant Gackstätter laid Keutjhi’ Bén himself low in Pameu. In May 1911 the bivouacs Arongan, Tanòh Mirah and Reusa’ were abolished in consequence of the favourable political situation in Wòjla and Boebon.
