Dageraad was a detention facility near the Dutch headquarters where captured rebels were held. On 26 January, a group of 53 rebels were sentenced to death, 15 were burned, 16 were beheaded, and 22 were hanged. The camp also housed 800 prisoners at one point.
Function
The camp served as the central location for judicial processing of insurgents during the 1760s campaign.
