Tjoenda is a landschap in the onderafdeeling Lho’ Seumawé of the afdeeling Noordkust van Atjeh, one of the beautiful landschappen of the onderafdeeling. Cattle from Tjoenda and the neighbouring landschap Nisam is sold to traders from Medan. The two landschappen have water from the Kroeeng Boeloeh, in which one finds, 12 km west of Lho’ Seumawé, a stone dam which is from time to time endangered by the bandjirs. The population is lukewarm towards such works and does little or nothing on its side.
