Boekloe was a temporary Dutch military post established on 14 January 1885 on the road from Anagaloeng to Lambaroe to protect transport operations during the evacuation of the XXII Moekims posts.
Purpose
Boekloe was established specifically to provide security for the ongoing transport of materials and goods from the evacuated posts. The temporary post served as a protective position during the retrograde movement.
Location
Boekloe was situated on the road between Anagaloeng and Lambaroe, covering the main route used for evacuation transport.
Evacuation
Boekloe itself was evacuated on 28 February 1885 along with Senelop, Montasik, Anagaloeng, and Pakan-Badak.
Significance
The establishment and subsequent evacuation of Boekloe illustrated the temporary nature of many posts and the practical challenges of retrograde operations. The post served its purpose during the evacuation period and was then abandoned.

Verstege records from the Koloniaal Verslag that Boekloe was evacuated together with Anak Galoeng in the February 1885 series at the execution of the concentration (see Completion of the concentrated position (March 1885)).
