Senelop was a Dutch military post in the XXII Moekims of Groot-Atjeh. The post was evacuated on 28 February 1885 as part of the concentration strategy.
Location
Senelop was situated in the southern portion of the XXII Moekims, away from the main communication line.
Pre-Concentration Status
Senelop was a post that existed before the concentration decision of 1884. Unlike the posts on the main line, it was not evacuated with the main group on 13 January 1885.
Evacuation
Senelop was evacuated on 28 February 1885 along with Montasik, Anagaloeng, Boekloe, and Pakan-Badak.
Significance
The evacuation of Senelop was part of the systematic withdrawal from the outer perimeter that characterized the concentration strategy.
