Beneden Wòjla was the lower Wòjla district near Meulaboh, one of the three areas of the Meulaboh country still unquiet after the improvements of 1909.
After A. Geertsema Beckeringh obtained sufficient means of power in 1909, only the Beneden Wòjla, Boebon and Seunagan remained unquiet in the Meulaboh country. In April 1910 T. Adam fell on the Beneden Wòjla, at the cost of one more rifle to the resistance. In May 1911, in consequence of the favourable political situation in Wòjla and Boebon, the bivouacs Arongan, Tanòh Mirah and Reusa’ were abolished.
