A village in Pidie. The author of the Hikayat ranto (Leube Isa) ‘lived in Pidie, first in gampong Bambi, after which he is called Teungku Bambi, and later at Klibeuet.’ Ie Leubeue (= Ayer Labu) A village in Pidie (or near it), a centre of religious learning. ‘A teacher at Ie Leubeue (Ayer Labu) called Teungku di Acheh or Teungku Acheh, since he pursued his studies for a long time in Acheh.’ In the sadati dialogue: ‘Dear little brother, to cut the matter short, I shall take thee to Kuala Ie Leubeue (vulg. Ayer Labu). I will not live at Kuala Ie Leubeue, for in the fresh-water creek at that place there are many crocodiles.‘

The wound is one of the three recorded in his stamboek, with the shot through the left upper arm at the Boekit Roembia on 11 June 1890 and the blood-blister on the belly at the Glé Risé on 21 November 1899.
