A gampong in Acheh. In the Hikayat Podi Amat (a hikayat ruhe), the hero is ‘a student in the gampong of Klibeuet.’ He dreams of success and goes on a journey to pursue his studies, eventually becoming ruler of the Gayos. The author of the hikayat Ranto (Leube Isa) ‘passed a portion of his life in the colonies of the pepper planters on the West Coast’ and later settled at Klibeuet after starting at Bambi. In the sadati performance, Klibeuet is mentioned as a centre of Islamic grammar study: ‘here with a (question) in grammar, wherein I was instructed at Klibeuet at the home of Teungku Muda.‘
