Gajo Loeös (high plateau) is a location in or related to Aceh described in Jongejan’s Land en Volk van Atjeh Vroeger en Nu. High plateau at ~800 m in the upper Tripa river basin, surrounded by 2000–3000 m mountains.

High plateau at ~800 m in the upper Tripa river basin, surrounded by 2000–3000 m mountains. Prosperous plain with cool climate, rich sawahgebied, promising for terpentijnwinning. Since 1934 administratively part of afdeeling Oostkust van Atjeh (no longer in Gajolanden).
Significance
Gajo Loeös is recorded by Jongejan as part of the geography and historical landscape of Aceh.
