Cot Mentjang was/is a tactical military post and hill station located in the rugged foothills of Groot-Atjeh.
Historical Context and Role
In 1898, Cot Mentjang served as a co-station for the 3rd Division of the Korps Maréchaussée, monitoring guerrilla movement between the valley and Glé Broet.
