Anak Paja was a place in Groot-Atjeh with a Dutch postholder, who was treacherously murdered there with eight pradjoerits on 25 June 1883 — four days after the Governor-General’s telegram of 21 June 1883 that Groot-Atjeh was almost wholly cleansed of enemies (see Murder of the postholder at Anak Paja (25 June 1883)).
