Toekoe Nja Abbas Setia Oelama was the Panglima Sagi (war lord of the province) of the XXV Moekims of Groot-Atjeh, whose submission and oath at Kota Radja on 24 January 1880 was, in Verstege’s review of the pacification of 1879–1881 (after Kielstra’s history), mentioned in the first place among the heads who, after the campaigns of generaal van der Heyden, came to Kota Radja to submit themselves to the Dutch government. Many of the heads who swore allegiance in that period belonged, like him, to the XXII and XXV Moekims whose resistance had been broken in the field.
