Officier van gezondheid Nanta was a Dutch officer of the Netherlands East Indies Army serving in the outposts of Groot-Atjeh during the alliance period of 1893–1896, recorded by G. B. Hooijer in De verlaten posten in Groot-Atjeh.
Service in the buitenposten (outer posts)
He was one of the two officieren van gezondheid (medical officers) identified by G. B. Hooijer on the plate of Biloel, the other being Tromp. Hooijer noted elsewhere that at the smaller post of Toengkoeb no medical officer was present at all, and that when one was needed he had to be fetched from the nearest post in the geconcentreerde linie, at Lamjong.
