Korte Atjeh-verklaring (Short Atjeh Declaration) (1898) is a document described in Jongejan’s Land en Volk van Atjeh Vroeger en Nu in connection with Aceh. Three-article political contract: (1) recognition that the territory is part of Nederlandsch-Indië with loyalty to the Queen of the Netherlands, from whose hands the rule is accepted; (2) promise not to enter political relations with foreign powers, treating Netherlands’ enemies as enemies and friends as friends; (3) promise to comply with and uphold all regulations issued by the Governor of Atjeh and Onderhoorigheden regarding the landschap.
