On this date in 1881 governor Pruijs van der Hoeven forbade the patrols the kampongs, bound them to fixed roads and forbade arrests outside the 500-metre ring (see Normale bestuursinrichting (Atjeh, 1881-1884)); on this date in 1883 the Kamer heard of Governor-General s’Jacob’s intended visit to Atjeh.
