Group of native polities in southern Aceh where verzet flared up in 1926-1927, discouraging N.V. Handelsvereeniging Amsterdam from developing lands in Meulaboh and Singkel.Onderafdeeling on Westkust; kapok centre; contains Landschap Kloeët with unique semi-wild karbouwherds.onderafdeeling formed during the 1925-1927 troubles by combining the southern part of Tapa’Toean with the landschap Troemon (formerly under Singkel). Still under a kapitein-fungeerend-controleur.

Significance

Zuidelijke Atjehsche Landschappen is recorded by Jongejan as part of the geography and historical landscape of Aceh.
