VII Moekims Baet was a valley moekim federation of Groot-Atjeh covered by eye survey of 1937, and the district whose comparatively good harvest Dr. C. E. Gomperts set against the crop failure of V Moekims Montassie in testing whether food supply governed the frequency of xerophthalmie.
The comparison with Montassie
The third of Gomperts’s three tests of the dietary theory ran: “Dat in de vallei-Moekims Montassie, met eene groote oogstmislukking de xerophthalmie-frequentie weinig verschilde van die van de vallei-Moekims Baet, met een veel beteren oogst” — that in the valley moekims Montassie, with a great crop failure, the xerophthalmia frequency differed little from that of the valley moekims Baet, with a much better harvest.
Together with the findings for Lhong and Lam-Teuba, the comparison supported his conclusion that “men alleen met den factor voeding het xerophthalmie-vraagstuk niet kan oplossen.”

Baet appears in the list of coastal and valley districts covered by the survey, printed with the sketch-map of the afdeeling, among the moekims of the onderafdeeling Seulimeum and Koetaradja.
