Tadoe was the district near Meulaboh in which the great resistance leaders began to show signs of accommodation in 1909.
After T. Moeda Mat Sa’it fell on the upper Tripa in March 1909, the submission in Seunagan, Tadoe and Tripa of all his pangs and band members followed. In October 1910 a notorious band-head from Tadoe came in submission with sixty-nine men and six blunderbusses — “they were no longer well supplied with rifles.” In March 1914 T. Radja Tampo’ levied tribute on inhabitants of Tadoe and Tripa.
