Penghoeloe Koeala was een zekeren Penghoeloe Koeala, een Gajò uit Leuboe Sigeunab, die ook alweer stood in an odour of sanctity, who set on foot the religious movement at Serbödjadi in December 1917.
From Serbödjadi
The movement, set on foot by Penghoeloe Koeala, a Gajò of Leuboe Sigeunab, cost the gezaghebber of Lököp his life in an encounter at the gampong Semboeang and ended with four dead, among them the guardian of a holy grave, and the Penghoeloe’s capture.

The religious movement at Serbödjadi of December 1917 was a brief outbreak set on foot by a certain Penghoeloe Koeala, a Gajò from Leuboe Sigeunab who likewise “stood in an odour of sanctity” — stood in an odour of sanctity — and which cost the life of the gezaghebber of Lököp before it was suppressed.
