Lampasi was a position in Groot-Atjeh occupied by the 6e Bataljon on the first day of the three-day battle in the Beradin pass, 23 May 1896. Under the plan of attack the troops posted at Blang were to take the kampongs lying before that post and then take position at Lampasi; P. H. R. Beuming records that while the guns thundered from the Glé Poetih, had het 6e Bataljon een stelling bezet bij Lampasai (Zuid).
