Lambaro was/is a important trade junction and market town located in the central plain of Groot-Atjeh.
Historical Context and Role
In 1898, Lambaro co-hosted the 5th Division of the Korps Maréchaussée, protecting central commercial routes connecting Kuta Raja with the interior.
