Gouverneurswoning te Koetaradja was the Governor’s residence at Koeta Radja, seat of the Civil and Military Governor of Atjeh en Onderhoorigheden.
It was there that H. N. A. Swart put a good lieutenant’s house nearby at Liefrinck’s disposal during his inspections, and there that on 2 September 1918, in a solemn gathering, Swart handed over the government to his successor Van Sluys and delivered his farewell address. A photograph in du Croo’s book is captioned “The Governor’s Residence at Koetaradja (Atjeh).”
