Description
Sultan’s palace/fortified residence at Koetaradja. Source of the Tjakra Donja bronze bell. Court fled the Dalem twice to Keumala (1878 and 1898). After conquest, replaced by the Gouvernementswoning (Governor’s residence).
Significance
Dalem is recorded by Jongejan as part of the geography and historical landscape of Aceh.
