Batoe Mengoera was the mountain chain on which the front of the Dutch forward post of Biloel in Groot-Atjeh looked out, named by P. H. R. Beuming in his account of the post in Schetsen uit den strijd op Groot-Atjeh: het front gaf uitzicht op een bergketen, genaamd: Batoe Mengoera.
The post lay east of the hill Boekit Terin and west of it bordered the extensive territory of Lamkrak; it was from the broken country before this front, and from a concealed trench in the burnt-off alang-alang field behind a bamboo thicket some fifty metres from the Dutch ambush position, that the sharpshooter of Biloel harassed the sentries in 1895 and 1896.
