Had not actually undertaken anything against the Kompeuni; Schmidt wanted to spare him and called in the mediation of an aunt (a daughter of the great Tjhēh Saman). She found him but returned unsuccessful: the young man refused to submit, wanted to die as a sjahid. He died as a sjahid on 9 December 1911.

Significance

Youngest son of Ma’Anim (last Teungkoe Tirò) appears in Jongejan’s account as one of the figures shaping the history of Aceh during the period covered by the book.
