Toeankoe Ibrahim was a Son of the Pretendent-Sultan mentioned in Jongejan’s Land en Volk van Atjeh Vroeger en Nu in connection with Aceh. Captured 24 December 1902 at Lammeulo together with his father’s favorite Potjoet di Tjot Moerong.

Captured 24 December 1902 at Lammeulo together with his father’s favorite Potjoet di Tjot Moerong. Received with his father by the Governor on 20 January 1903. Later visits Aceh from time to time; banishment provisions for him recently lifted.

Significance

Toeankoe Ibrahim appears in Jongejan’s account as one of the figures shaping the history of Aceh during the period covered by the book.
