Teuku Potjoet Ali was panglima and de facto uleebalang of the III Mukim during the early Aceh War.

Role in the campaign

According to Jan van Swieten, he had been appointed military chief by his brother-in-law Teuku Langgoegoeb, then killed him and took the leadership while retaining the title panglima. He was said to have considered submission after the Capture of the Kraton of Aceh, but died on 30 January 1874 before a promised declaration.
