Panglima Mah Saleh was an Acehnese military commander (panglima) and primary lieutenant (hulubalang) serving under Teuku Imam Lueng Batoh in the XXV Moekims during the Aceh War.

Combat Service in 1874

In Atjeh gedurende de tweede expeditie en later (1876), Panglima Mah Saleh is recorded among the most prominent Acehnese combat leaders who organized benteng defenses at Lemboe and around Kraton of Aceh during the Second Aceh Expedition.

In early February 1874, Dutch intelligence briefly received false reports of his death alongside that of Teuku Imam Lueng Batoh, illustrating the intense fog of war surrounding Acehnese leadership during the 1874 campaign.
