Jusuf Abdullah Puar was an Indonesian civil servant who, in March 1950, was appointed head of the Publicity Department (hoofd der afd. Publiciteit) of the province of North Sumatra (Nd.-Sumatra). He had previously served as a senior official (hoofdambtenaar) at the Provisional Service (Voorl. dienst). His appointment was made by the governor of North Sumatra in the same month that Koesen Tjokrosentono — formerly acting head of information in Atjeh — was appointed head of General Affairs.
