Jules Bosch was the deviser of a new rubber-tapping method (rubber-tapmethode) recently invented at the time of the 1930 Maréchaussée jubilee, in whose exploitation the former Maréchaussée officer W. V. Rhemrev took part.
The tapping method
The 1930 jubilee number of Het Nieuws van den Dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië, in its portrait notice of W. V. Rhemrev, records that besides being director of the building company De Rijzende Zon, Rhemrev “neemt tevens deel aan de exploitatie van de nieuwe rubber-tapmethode, onlangs gedaan door den heer Jules Bosch” — also took part in the exploitation of the new rubber-tapping method recently devised by Mr. Jules Bosch.
The notice gives no further particulars of the method or of Bosch himself.
