The Gymnasium Willem III at Weltevreden was the secondary school in the Netherlands Indies at which the Maréchaussée officer W. V. Rhemrev received his education before entering the Koninklijke Militaire Academie at Breda.

Rhemrev’s schooling

The 1930 Maréchaussée jubilee number opens its portrait notice of Rhemrev: “De heer Rhemrev ontving zijn opleiding aan het voormalig Gymnasium Willem III te Weltevreden, en aan de Kon. Militaire Academie te Breda. In 1902 werd hij officier” — Mr. Rhemrev received his education at the former Gymnasium Willem III at Weltevreden and at the Royal Military Academy at Breda; in 1902 he became an officer.

The notice describes the school as voormalig (former), indicating that it no longer existed under that name at the time of writing.
