Description
Jungle. ‘Rimboe-romantiek’ (jungle romance) of the army elephants at Tangsé. ‘Onbetreden oerwoud’ (untrodden primeval forest) practically does not exist in Atjeh - all areas of any size have been patrolled multiple times by military.
Significance
The term rimboe is recorded by Jongejan as part of the cultural, administrative, or institutional vocabulary of Aceh.
