The mountain near Medina. In the Hikayat Soydina Amdah: ‘The first place mentioned is the grave of Mohammed’s uncle Hamzah (Ach. Amdah) on the mountain of Uhud (Ach. Ahat).’ The rapal verses also mention: ‘Hamzah perished near the mountain Uhud, a little distance (from Medina).’
