Meu’ was the kroeëng in Pidië on which H. J. Schmidt surprised the hiding-place of the Tirò band on 8 February 1908.
Op 8 Februari overviel Schmidt, afgaande op gevonden en zorgvuldig gevolgde sporen, aan de kr. Meu’ de schuilplaats der bende, waarbij vijf der voornaamste Teungkoes sneuvelden. It was the first heavy blow struck against the oelama party in Pidië after the Tirò band had fled there from Geumpang at the end of 1907.
