Lökop is the chief place of the onderafdeeling Serbödjadi in the afdeeling Gajo- en Alaslanden. A company of infantry (eight brigades of twenty men) under a captain lay at Lökop at the time of Broersma’s visit. The connection of Blang Kedjerën with Lökop is partly by horse-track, the middle section being still a footpath.
