From Vaccination Unrest in Groot Atjeh (April 1914)
After the controleur, accompanied by the oelèëbalang and the keutjhi’s, had discussed the matter fully with the population, all concerned asked ampon (forgiveness). They requested, however, that the vaccinator should not be sent back to Lam Seuninja, and that the Toean Besar should point out to the district head that he should be somewhat more accessible to his population.
