Toekoe Samalanga was an Achehnese chief of Samalanga who occupied a house at the Dutch post of Lam Soet in the XXII Moekims of Groot-Atjeh before returning to his own country, after which the building served as officers’ quarters.

G. B. Hooijer recorded that at Lam Soet the soldiers were quartered in an old Achehnese dwelling, en de officieren woonden in het huis, dat Toekoe Samalanga betrokken had, voor hij naar zijn land was teruggekeerd — and the officers lived in the house that Toekoe Samalanga had occupied before he had returned to his own country.
The reference belongs to the pattern of movement of allied Achehnese contingents between the north coast and Groot-Atjeh recorded elsewhere in the book, notably the transfer of Toekoe Tjihik van Samalanga with a hundred fighters to assist Toekoe Nja Banta.
