T. Haroen was an Acehnese resistance leader who, after the destruction of the Tiriō bende in 1911, operated a resistance band “op de Noordkust” — on the North Coast of Aceh. Some forty onverzoenlijken (irreconcilables) — the survivors of the Tiriō bende — “sloot zich aan bij de bende van Teukoe Dagang en bij die van T. Haroen, die op de Noordkust opereerde.”
The Noordkust band
