Quacco was a rebel commander whose outpost was recaptured by Dutch forces under Colonel De Salve during the suppression of the Wikkie‑kreek uprising in the 1760s. His position, together with that of Baubé, formed part of the network of rebel strongholds.

The Dutch reported that Quacco’s outpost fell after a concerted attack, contributing to the overall weakening of the insurgency.
