Pang Aron was the most active subordinate commander of Tgk. di Barat, who reported himself with eight followers in 1910.
The submission of Pang Aron in Keureutòë closed a year in which seventy-one resistance men were killed, fifty-one taken prisoner and eighty submitted: “the death (or submission) of so many fanatical and influential men of the resistance brought about the lasting turn.” In Bireuën, where respect for the Kompeuni had been restored under Watrin, the protected population turned against the bands, and that meant on 20 December 1909 the end for a Pang Aron there.
