P. A. H. Holten was an officer of the Korps Maréchaussée in Atjeh recorded in the Overzicht van Onderscheidingen of the 1930 jubilee number as knight of the Militaire Willems-Orde 4th class for the Gajo and Alas lands.
Entry in the register
The register lists him under the separate heading Gajo- en Alaslanden, together with Kapt. Mar. W. B. J. A. Scheepens, who received the 3rd class. The awards relate to the operations following the march to the Gajo-Loëös of 1904 and the revolt of 1905.
