More a warlord (panglima) than a scholar; lacked his father’s piety and sobriety. But the fire of hatred animated him. Led the assault on Aneuë Galong (1896); killed in the assault, which was repulsed in a quarter hour with the Acehnese leaving >100 dead. Died 1896.

Ma’Anim (Teungkoe Ma’Anim / Moehamat Anim’s son, third Teungkoe Tirò) appears in Jongejan’s account as one of the figures shaping the history of Aceh during the period covered by the book.
