J. C. Heynen was a Dutch non-commissioned officer and Sergeant Brigade Commander in the Korps Maréchaussée.

Military Career and Service in Aceh

Born in 1869, Heynen was awarded the Knight 4th Class Military William Order (M.W.O.) on 18 February 1902 and elevated to Knight 3rd Class M.W.O. on 31 July 1902, becoming only the third NCO in the history of the corps to receive this high honor. He later transferred to the colonial police force, serving as Adjunct-Hoofdcommissaris and receiving the Order of Oranje-Nassau.
