A Malay teacher who settled and taught at Lam Bhu’, married to the sister of Muhamat Amin (Teungku Lam Bhu’). He became Muhamat Amin’s successor after his death, and very many Acehnese scholars, including Teungku di Lam Nyong, studied under him. His wife composed one of only two known Acehnese prose works.
